Dubiner's shamanic paintings reveal our connection to the world of nature, with the infinite variety of plants and animals and other living forms.

The artist works not by following a cerebral plan but by letting her psyche speak while she is painting. This spontaneous method often brings surprise. Brightly colored sensuous vines and leaves sprout sharp thorns, and devil-faced monkeys emerge from seed pods.

Even the most luminous realm, filled with radiant pearls, becomes populated by black snakes invading from the starry sky.
