As long ago as 10,000 years ago, our distant ancestors carved or drew lines of female dancers on cave walls along with animals like bison and bear. Keeping this lineage alive with images of human dancers who leap and twirl on the Earth, and of weightless dancers of all shapes and sizes who inhabit Shoshanah's imagination.

Pen-and-ink drawings of scenes from two Italian movies of the 1970s: award-winning "Sacco and Vanzetti" and "La Vacanza (The Vacation)". Shoshanah was assistant costumer on both films and did the drawings while on location. Shown here for the first time in 40 years.
